HSE publishes The Analysts’ Guide
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published the second edition of ‘Asbestos: The Analysts’ Guide’.
The Analysts’ Guide contains guidance for analysts involved in asbestos work and is the authoritative source of asbestos analytical procedures within Great Britain.
This edition has been updated to include HSE findings and developments in analytical procedures and methodology. It provides clarification on technical and personal safety issues, especially in relation to sampling and 4-stage clearances, and new information on sampling soils for asbestos is included.
‘Asbestos: The Analysts’ Guide’ is designed to support asbestos analysts in complying with their legal obligations and is also useful to other professionals in asbestos and health & safety management.
